Who We Are

Hello from The Hallett's

We're Charlotte and Glenn. We both grew up in West Sussex and met when we were at college. Like something out of the Sound of Music, she was 16 going on 17 and he had just turned 18 and was older and wiser. And that as they say, was that! Having both gone to university in Southampton in the late 90's and built a life in Hampshire, we relocated back to Sussex in 2010 after we had our second child and are fortunate enough to live at the foot of the beautiful South Downs.

Between us, we have 50 years HR expertise, having worked for a number of different organisations within a variety of industries. There really isn't much we haven't seen in that time, so nothing phases us!

We decided to set up My HR People in 2025 after a pretty life changing year. My HR People was born out of a passion to help businesses who want to do the right thing by their people, but either don't have skills, knowledge or experience in house, or who don't have the capacity in their current HR team and need additional support.

We know there are many HR Consultancies out there to choose from, but what you'll get from us is advice with heart. We're not actually fans of the term 'Human Resources' because this is about people.
